Key control aspect of the new way of working at Voka Oost-Vlaanderen

As the largest business association in Flanders, Voka occupies an important position in the business and professional landscape. Voka represents the interests of the entrepreneur, provides training and courses and connects business people by means of its considerable network. It also plays a role in new movements, such as sustainability, digitalisation and the new way of flex or hybrid working.

Key control

In the context of the new or hybrid working, Voka East Flanders aims to optimally organize the management of keys and company assets. Until recently, company assets such as laptops, digital cameras, and projectors were manually loaned out to employees. The administration of this was time-consuming, did not always go smoothly, and involved a certain degree of loss of expensive devices. Moreover, it was necessary to always have someone in the office. For this reason, Voka has teamed up with Nauta Connect, a specialist in this field.

After a few months, users and administrators are extremely enthusiastic about the solution. It is fast and it provides optimum traceability.

Key control software

Voka Oost-Vlaanderen has opted for Nauta Connect’s solution. Operational assets and keys are managed via central software, the Connect software, which controls the CapLocker and KeyConductor. Users can collect and return assets and keys by means of their existing pass.

The key control system in practice

The CapLocker is the smart locker that stands in a central position in the office, where staff can pick up assets quickly.
The KeyConductor is the electronic key cabinet, which is installed in the garage with the shared car and bicycles.
“After a few months, users and administrators are extremely enthusiastic about the solution. It’s fast and it provides optimum traceability. We see more applications every day”, added Katrien Moens.
